Triple Threat engages students’ bodies, voices and imaginations in this drama, dance, and singing workshop. Musical Theatre instruction will introduce boys and girls to the techniques of theatre dance and “acting through singing.” Older students will develop fluency of ideas, confidence, and creativity, as they improvise ideas suggested by literature and rehearse simple scripted scenes. This class is an enjoyable and well-rounded performing arts experience.



Ages 3 and 4 in creative movement class with ribbonsCREATIVE MOVEMENT: Ages 2-3 or 3-4

Creative Movement is for young dancers to experience the joy of self-expression through music and movement. Students will explore rhythm, coordination, and gross motor skill movements. These activities encourage the dancer to listen, focus, and follow directions.



Ages 4 to 5 stretch in pre-ballet classPRE-BALLET: Grades PK-K

Pre-Ballet introduces dancers to the very basic elements of ballet. Skills such as marching, galloping, skipping, sliding, leaping, jumping, and elementary ballet body positions are incorporated throughout the course.



PRE-HIP HOP: Grades PK-1

Pre-Hip Hop introduces dancers to the very basic elements of dance. Skills such as marching, galloping, skipping, sliding, leaping, jumping, and elementary hip hop moves are incorporated throughout the course. This class is great for energetic movers and shakers.

Our Debut “Pre-Competition” Team provides an accelerated dance education for young dancers. With class meeting twice per week, dancers train in ballet and tap, along with learning a jazz piece to compete locally in the spring. No audition required. Ballet and Tap combo classes are a great way for dancers to discover and learn different dance forms in a concentrated period of time. A portion of every class is spent working on both ballet and tap, and dancers that elect to be in our Spring Show will perform two different dances.

Hip hop girls and boys in classHIP HOP: Grades 1-12

Hip Hop is an upbeat and high energy form of dance, popularized by music videos and concert stages. Constantly evolving, hip hop blends jazz and street dance, to develop the dancer’s sense of personal style and creativity.

Ballet emphasizes proper body positioning and development of correct muscle alignment. Grace, fluidity of movement, and discipline are core aspects of this dance form. Ballet is a necessity for the serious student of dance, as it is the foundation for all other dance forms. Our classical ballet program includes Russian, Cecchetti and Vaganova technique.

Tap is an American dance form in which the dancer creates exciting, dynamic rhythms with their feet. Instruction includes emphasis on musicality, clarity of tap sounds, proper technique, speed, and a variety of styles of steps.



JAZZ: Grades 2-12

Jazz is a quick moving, technical dance form. Class will focus on flexibility, turns and leaps, and coordination, through center-floor work, across the floor progressions, and combinations.

ACRO: Grades 5-12

Acro students will focus on combining dance with acrobatic movement. They will develop tumbling skills, while improving strength and flexibility through conditioning, in a partner/team environment.

2 dancersCONTEMPORARY: Grades 5-12

Contemporary is a dance form that integrates the discipline of ballet with the freedom of jazz. This class focuses on the use of personal emotion and storytelling through musicality and movement. A solid, ballet-based technique is an essential component of this style of dance; therefore, a portion of every class is dedicated to ballet training.


CIRQUE-IT: Ages 9+

Cirque-it students will rotate through stations that tone and stretch every muscle group! Students will partner up and work through five phases: Aerial silks, Aerial Lyra (hoop), Aerial Sling (Yoga Hammock), Acro Yoga (partner flying and basing) and strength/stretch. All levels are welcome. A medium to high level of fitness is recommended for success and safety.
