Tuition is based on total STUDENT hours per week and may be paid annually or monthly. All monthly accounts are required to be setup for Autopay, using the credit card provided upon registration. Autopay accounts are processed on the first business day of each month (September-May). Tuition is considered late after the 10th of the month, and a $20.00 late fee per family will be charged to your account if past-due. WE DO NOT BILL UNLESS AN ACCOUNT BECOMES DELINQUENT.
The first tuition installment and family registration fee are processed at time of enrollment to save your dancer’s place in their class(es).
Non-refundable registration fee and first installment of payment plan is due upon registration.
There is a $25.00 fee for any checks returned by the bank.
Written notice of intent to cancel enrollment is required two weeks in advance of intended end date. There is no refund for tuition due, or paid, in the month the class is dropped. If you paid in full upfront, the tuition will be re-calculated at the monthly rate to determine any partial refund. Drop forms are available at the studio front desk, or EMAIL US.
If your account becomes 61 days past-due, your dancer(s) will be automatically dropped from all classes. Dancers with four consecutive absences in an individual class will be automatically withdrawn. Regardless of dancer(s) attendance, tuition for the months enrolled is still owed, NO exceptions.
Proper dance attire enables the student to fully participate in class and to maintain a disciplined attitude towards dance studies. Dancers not dressed in accordance to Backstage Dance Studio DRESS CODE requirements will not be allowed to participate in class or performances.
Regular attendance in class is encouraged to ensure student progress. If a class is missed, students are encouraged to make up the absence in a class of similar age and level. For the 2020-2021 School-Year, make-up classes will be offered via Virtual learning. To view a current schedule, please visit the “Classes” tab of our website to see an online list of classes, and then email firstname.lastname@example.org for additional log-in information. Students who continually miss class may not be eligible to participate in our annual Spring Show, as the students learn new choreography each week and it is easy to fall behind when attendance is inconsistent.
