SPRING SHOW

Each spring, Backstage Dance Studio celebrates the accomplishments of our dancers with our annual Spring Shows. These professionally produced performances give dancers the opportunity to share everything they’ve learned throughout the school year while creating memories that last a lifetime.

Whether it’s a preschool dancer stepping onto the stage for the very first time or one of our advanced dancers performing more advanced technique, every performance is a celebration of hard work, growth, confidence, and joy. Many of our dancers look back on their Spring Shows as some of their favorite memories from their time at Backstage.

While we’re busy creating something new for 2027, take a look back at last year’s production inspired by Alice in Wonderland.

Why We Perform

At Backstage, performing isn’t just about putting on a show. It’s an important part of a dancer’s education. Preparing for a performance helps dancers:

• Build confidence by performing in front of a live audience.
• Develop responsibility and commitment through rehearsals.
• Learn teamwork and collaboration.
• Gain poise and stage presence.
• Experience the excitement of working toward a shared goal.
• Celebrate the progress they’ve made throughout the year.

For many dancers, stepping on stage becomes one of the highlights of their dance journey.
