WHAT IS JAZZ?
Jazz is a fast-paced, energetic, and technical style of dance that combines strength, precision, and rhythm. In this class, dancers will work on developing flexibility, mastering clean turns and powerful leaps, and improving overall coordination. Each session includes center-floor exercises to build technique, across-the-floor progressions to enhance movement flow, and choreographed combinations to apply skills in dynamic routines. It encourages both discipline and personal expression, making it an exciting and rewarding style for dancers of all levels. With its upbeat music and high-energy choreography, jazz keeps dancers motivated and moving from start to finish.
• Black leotard or fitted black top
• Black form-fitting bottoms (shorts, leggings, etc.)
• Black jazz shoes
• Hair cleanly secured away from face and neck (ponytail, braids, bun, etc.)
