Tap

WHAT IS TAP?
Tap is a distinctly American dance form where dancers create exciting and dynamic rhythms by striking the floor with their feet. This style combines intricate footwork with musical timing, turning each dancer into both a performer and a percussionist. Instruction in these classes emphasize developing musicality, ensuring clarity of each tap sound, and mastering proper technique. Students also work on increasing their speed and agility, while exploring a wide variety of step styles and patterns. Through these elements build coordination, rhythm, and expression, offering a fun and engaging way to connect movement with music.
